About KV

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sundargarh started functioning in the year 1993 with single section from Class-I to V under Civil Sector at Sundargarh. The sponsoring authority i.e Collector & DM, Sundargarh and Chairman, VMC, KV Sundargarh was kind enough to provide temporary building in the District Panchayat Office along with one Vocational College, BIVAPA, Sundargarh. Due to consequential growth of the classes the Vocational college was shifted and more class rooms, compound wall and other basic facilities were extended by the District Administration.
